Pågen is a family-owned business in its fifth generation, baking bread since 1878. Here, we bake with love and care for our raw materials, products, employees, consumers, and shared resources. With two bakeries where skilled bakers work day and night, and with Sweden's largest sales force, Pågen supplies fresh bread to stores and export markets across the country every day. With products such as packaged fresh bread, yeast coffee bread, crispbreads, as well as sausage and hamburger buns, we are now taking the step into the future by building a new bakery in Landskrona.
1 position(s).
Do you want to be part of building the bakery of the future?
We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to play a key role in the development and establishment of our new bakery in Landskrona. Here you will have the opportunity to work in one of Sweden's most exciting industrial projects, with high-tech complexity, major investments, and a clear focus on innovation and efficient production.
We offer a unique journey within Swedish food production, with the first breads ready by the end of 2029. It will not just be a bakery – it will be a long-term investment in the future where you get to be part of the journey.
About the role
As a Technical Project Manager, you will have a central role with clear responsibilities that combine project management and process engineering. You ensure that the production process functions optimally, from raw material to ready-to-sell bread, and that the solutions are correctly integrated in interaction with the building.
You work operationally with developing, analyzing, and quality-assuring production flows, while simultaneously driving projects forward from feasibility studies to implementation. The role involves a strong focus on the whole picture, where process, technology, automation, and building must work together.
Your responsibilities include among other things:
- Ensuring the correct integration between production, installations, and the building
- Driving and developing process solutions with a focus on flows, capacity, and function
- Working with layout and CAD to ensure optimal material and production flows
- Quality-assuring drawings and technical documentation so that solutions work in practice
In the role, you will also:
- Plan and structure feasibility studies (scope, schedule, and milestones)
- Ensure the correct requirements from both a process and technical perspective
- Analyze and optimize flows, capacity, and resource utilization
- Evaluate and compare technical solutions and suppliers from a holistic perspective
- Coordinate internal functions and external parties, and act as the contact point for suppliers
- Participate in the development of solution concepts and ensure they work in Pågen's production environment
- Coordinate suppliers' models and solutions at the interface with the building
This is a key role where you connect process, technology, and building – from CAD and flow design to fully functioning production.
The role places high demands on your ability to understand and optimize the whole picture. You need to be equally comfortable analyzing process flows and capacity as working in detail with CAD and technical interfaces. At the same time, you contribute with analyses and decision support that influence the project's technical choices.
Who are you?
To succeed in the role, you have a strong technical foundation and a clear process focus. You are driven by understanding and optimizing production flows and turning solutions from drawings and concepts into a functioning, efficient, and robust production in a complex industrial environment.
We see that you have:
- Relevant technical education (university/YH or equivalent), preferably with a focus on process, production, or mechanical engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in project or process work within industry, technology, or production
- Very good knowledge of CAD and experience working with layout, flows, and technical interfaces
- Experience with feasibility studies, requirements specification, and project planning (time, budget, scope)
- Understanding of how production processes are built up and optimized, including capacity and flows
- Basic understanding of mechanics and how technical systems are integrated into a holistic solution
- Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
It is an advantage if you have experience from the food or process industry, and have worked closely with installation, commissioning, or technical coordination where multiple disciplines meet.
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, you are:
- Analytical and systematic, with the ability to see both details and the big picture
- Structured and confident in creating order in complex issues, especially in feasibility studies
- Communicative and collaborative – you engage both internal functions and external suppliers
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a focus on making things work in practice
- Curious and development-driven, with an interest in technology, optimization, and new solutions
You thrive in an environment where the pace is high and where you are expected to take initiative, drive issues forward, and contribute to the whole functioning.
Apply for the position
We work with continuous selection and look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible. However, no later than August 3rd. Warmly welcome with your application! Read more about Pågen, https://www.pagen.se (https://www.pagen.se)
