Do you want to help shape a cohesive and sustainable digital development in Halmstad Municipality? We are now looking for two development managers with different focuses who want to join us on our journey forward.
Both roles operate in the borderland between business operations and IT, focusing on driving development that creates clear value, strengthens the whole, and contributes to long-term, well-founded digital decisions. Here, you have the opportunity to make a real impact and create value for both the operations and the residents of Halmstad Municipality. Sounds interesting? Read on!
Your responsibilities
The role of Development Manager with a focus on architecture is an enabling and coordinating role in creating direction, structure, and long-term decisions together with business operations and IT services. You work with digital decisions and common principles, leading the process to ensure these are taken with a clear holistic perspective.
You work on creating a holistic view and direction for the municipality's digital development by highlighting consequences, supporting joint decisions, and contributing to a cohesive development that reduces duplicate work, strengthens coordination, and creates long-term value. The responsibilities also include project management as well as analysis and feasibility studies.
You contribute to and are partly responsible for a cohesive system administration, support procurement processes with architectural guidance, and collaborate closely with business operations, IT, and other functions to create long-term and effective solutions with the best interests of the municipality and its residents in focus.
In this role, you contribute to a more cohesive digital environment, sustainable decisions, and better utilization of shared platforms.
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in a relevant field, or alternatively, experience that the employer considers equivalent. You speak and write very good Swedish and master English.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree or relevant experience that the employer considers equivalent
- Very good Swedish and mastery of English
Merits
- Experience in portfolio management, system administration, or similar structures/models
- Experience from municipal operations or politically governed organizations
- Experience working with digitalization, data, or digital infrastructure
You are a person who drives development forward and gets things done. You have the ability to see the big picture while moving the work forward step by step. The role involves many contact surfaces and requires good cooperation skills and the ability to adapt your working methods based on the situation. You are analytical and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in the needs of the operations. You are good at collaborating, building trust, and creating engagement, and you contribute to achieving results that create value for both the operations and the residents.
What we offer you
Here you get security and balance in working life – with collective agreements, the possibility of salary exchange to pension, and holiday exchange for increased flexibility. You have 25 vacation days until the age of 39, 31 days from age 40, and 32 days from age 50. In addition, we offer among other things a wellness allowance, gym access, health inspirers, and a health conversation in the year you turn 40, so that you feel good and can keep going in the long run.
Other information
During the vacation period, we will respond with lower frequency, which may mean slightly longer response times to any questions during the summer. We are back in week 33 and will answer questions thereafter.
After the application period has ended, we review the applications and get back to you with feedback. If you proceed, you will have tests to complete, followed by a phone check-in, a competency-based interview planned during week 35, and finally a potential candidate meeting. We always take references on the final candidate.
In this recruitment, selection questions replace the personal letter. This contributes to a more inclusive and efficient recruitment process, where your answers are an important part of our selection.
