Meta Bytes is looking for an Operations Engineer for our office in Laholm. The role involves responsibility, freedom, and close collaboration with both customers and several of our development teams.

What will you be doing?

• Work with cloud-based infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability
• Collaborate with developers to improve and standardize daily workflows around deployment, monitoring, logging, and application metrics using Infrastructure as Code
• Learn from our many experienced technicians and developers
• Handle incidents and support tickets from both systems and users
• Document solutions and maintain documentation both internally and for various customer environments
• Automate, automate, automate...

About you

• You are passionate about IT and automation and love sharing your hobby projects, such as home automation or oversized server racks in the basement
• You are equally comfortable in the Linux CLI and the Windows GUI
• You have experience with Azure and/or AWS, as well as Terraform/Infrastructure as Code
• You can code/script but do not see a full-time developer career as your path
• You view learning and self-development as an essential part of your work
• You have good spoken and written Swedish and English (knowledge of Esperanto, Knoparmoj, or Thieves' Cant is a plus)
• You are persistent and really good at problem-solving
• Your neighbors believe you are the chosen one to fix their printers (and since you are friendly and service-oriented, you usually help them as long as they offer a pizza or a good IPA)
