The Technical Customer Service department assists customers and sales offices with materials technology questions. You will be welcomed into a team of five employees who possess great experience and high competence. The role is based either in Smedjebacken or Boxholm. The position involves some travel and customer visits within Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical inquiries from sales offices and customers
  • Update and archive customer specifications for various markets
  • Be responsible for customer-initiated material investigations
  • Analyze customer needs and suggest changes in product development projects
  • Handle complaint cases and technical support
  • Ensure the execution of trial orders
  • Work with quality assurance through APQP and PPAP

We are looking for you who

  • Have a university degree in materials technology, materials design, or are trained as a mechanical engineer, or have a materials science focus from technical physics
  • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work
  • Have a B driver's license as travel between the locations Smedjebacken and Boxholm occurs

It is an advantage if you have

  • Quality work according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
  • Experience with APQP and PPAP
  • Process or product development or work in a metallographic lab

  • Start: Immediately, subject to notice period

  • Working hours: Office hours, weekdays
