About the Role

Do you want to help shape the electricity grid of the future?

We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take a key role in a business in the midst of an exciting development journey. With new municipal owners, investments in modern technology, and a clear ambition to expand and strengthen the electricity grid, we are facing an expansive phase.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work broadly across the entire voltage range of 0.4–145 kV and drive projects that make a real difference – for society, our customers, and the ongoing energy transition. Your Responsibilities

You will be part of the Project Department, which is responsible for investments in both the electricity grid and the district heating network. The work involves consultation and collaboration with many stakeholders such as landowners, authorities, contractors, and obviously internal and external clients. On-call duties may occur in the role.

As a Project Manager, your main tasks will include:

• Project Management of new constructions and reconstructions in local and regional networks 0.4-145kV, as well as maintenance projects. Ensure progress throughout the project, perform controls, and manage the contracting process
• Planning & Follow-up: schedules, budgets, risks, and quality; review proposals for technical solutions and prepare economic calculations
• Coordination of designers, preparers, contractors, landowners, and authorities. Participate in the field at, for example, construction meetings, final inspections, and project follow-ups
• Tendering & Contracts: request for proposals, contracts, change management
• Permits & Authority Contacts (land, environment, traffic, etc.)
• Work Environment & Safety: BAS-P/BAS-U (as needed), ESA, electrical safety
• Reporting to clients/management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Education in electrical power/energy or equivalent experience
• Documented project management experience
• Good understanding of electricity grid structure and the regulations of the electricity market
• Basic client competence to identify project stakeholders as clients and ensure a correct requirement picture from maintenance, economy, and future planning
• Knowledge of EBR, AMA, ESA, AB/ABT
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make decisions
• Clear communication and structured follow-up
• Good knowledge of the office package and Microsoft Project or other project planning tools
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing is required
• Category B driver's license is a requirement for the position as you need to travel to the field in connection with planning and execution of projects

Merits

• Previous experience in electricity grid design and/or the electricity industry
• Experience with the NIS system dpPower
• Competence in public procurement
