We help our customers increase their profits and contribute to a more sustainable future. By improving and ensuring the operation of our customers' existing systems, and by replacing all or parts of the control and HVDC equipment, we make this happen. Within Technology and Engineering for HVDC Service, we need you to take on the mechanical technical challenges of our deliveries – finding the successful solution from the initial capture teams, through quotation and project delivery, to customer handover. You will face an exciting challenge involving mechanical design aspects within a growing market.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will have an exciting and varied role with contact with both customers and suppliers. You will work with global organizations within HVDC Service and have development opportunities in the plant's electromechanical design areas of calculation and design, as a project engineer.

• In this role, you will work with detailed design, large assemblies, creating drawings and technical documentation, as well as calculations for existing HVDC converter stations.

• You will also oversee problem-solving, engage in technical discussions with clients and suppliers to find suitable solutions for refurbishing existing converter stations.

Your Responsibilities

• To succeed in this role, you have a degree in mechanical engineering or similar. Additionally, you have good knowledge of NX and 3D-CAD, and a strong interest in technical solutions within electromechanical design.

• Conduct site surveys, 3D scan the station, and use this information for design work.

• Participate in or support site installation.

• Furthermore, it is a merit if you have worked in a global environment and the manufacturing industry and/or have worked as a consultant in mechanical engineering. You are familiar with working with tools like CAD and FEM.

• Please note that excellent skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, are an important requirement.

• A diversified company with over 70+ nationalities working in Sweden

• Supplementary compensation for parental leave

• Employee Benefit Portal with thousands of discounts and perks

• Additional benefits may be connected to this specific role
