Thanks to Arctic Paper Grycksbo's long tradition, the Swedish paper mill is a well-known manufacturer of coated, wood-free paper. The manufacturing process results in extremely low fossil carbon dioxide emissions, which is just one example of Arctic Paper Group's ambitious sustainability goals.

The mill in Grycksbo, located in the heart of Dalarna, was founded as early as 1740 and has a long, successful tradition of paper manufacturing. The mill's ambition has always been to continuously renew processes and improve efficiency. Grycksbo produces coated, wood-free paper under the brands G and Arctic, primarily used for printing books, magazines, posters, maps, and advertising material.

You will lead an organization of approximately 60 employees through four Operations Managers responsible for results, quality, occupational health and safety, and efficiency.

As Maintenance Manager, you have overall responsibility for the maintenance operations at the Grycksbo mill. You lead both operational and strategic work within maintenance and are responsible for ensuring the business meets set goals regarding safety, availability, quality, economy, and sustainability. The role involves close collaboration with the production organization and other parts of the mill management team, where you drive development, create structure, and ensure that maintenance work supports the business's long-term goals.

You are responsible for developing the organization, working methods, and processes to create increased efficiency and operational reliability. An important focus moving forward will be to strengthen preventive maintenance, develop planning and resource utilization, and continue to build a culture characterized by safety, accountability, and continuous improvements.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for you who have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, as well as a solid background in maintenance within the process or manufacturing industry. You have several years of experience in leadership positions and are accustomed to leading through managers in a business where safety, availability, and efficiency are critical business factors.

You have a good understanding of maintenance strategies, continuous production processes, and how professional maintenance contributes to the business's profitability and competitiveness. Experience in change management, improvement work, and organizational development is particularly valuable as the business faces continued development and renewal.

As a leader, you are clear, engaging, and confident. You have the ability to create structure and direction while building trusting relationships with employees, managers, and union representatives. You have strategic height and are driven by developing both people and the business.

You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.

The Employment

The position of Maintenance Manager is a permanent full-time position located in Grycksbo. You report to the Plant Manager and participate in the management group. Start date is as soon as possible according to agreement.
