At Region Dalarna, you will find meaningful work where you can make a difference. Together, we work towards a sustainable Dalarna with development potential in all parts of the county.

About the Role

We are in an expansion phase and need to strengthen our organization with local space planners for Regionfastigheter (Regional Properties) in Dalarna.

Regionfastigheter manages Region Dalarna's consolidated property management, with the mission to provide premises and services to the region's operations based on sustainable societal development. We manage approximately 450,000 sqm of premises and rent out an additional 120,000 sqm externally. Our largest assets are our hospitals, but we also manage folk high schools, health centers, and public transport facilities.

We develop premises and properties for new and existing tenants through both renovations and new construction. We now need to strengthen our organization with additional staff as we are in an expansive phase.

Responsibilities

As a local space planner, you will participate in our construction projects, particularly in the early stages. You will collaborate with our project managers, architects, technical consultants, contractors, and above all, with our tenants—the operations themselves! You lead working groups with representatives from the operations and, together with them, prepare documentation for our project designers. You identify and document functional and operational requirements for the premises and are part of a group consisting of local space planners and project managers. You also work broadly with strategic issues related to standards and the early stages of the construction process. The organization consists of a competent and well-integrated team including property managers, project managers, local space planners, technical specialists, and administrative support.

We also collaborate with colleagues from other regions through various networks we are engaged in. The role involves contact with many different operations and employees within Region Dalarna.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • University education in healthcare, architecture, or another relevant field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driver's license (as projects will be located throughout the county).

Personal Attributes:

We are looking for someone who works independently and collaboratively, taking a leading role in our projects. As a person, you are outgoing, calm, methodical, precise, and analytical, while also being highly motivated and stress-resistant. You are a good listener and negotiator when different needs and requirements conflict. You easily build good relationships and are receptive and solution-oriented. You also have the ability to structure and plan your own work.

Merits:

  • Experience in leading and working in teams.
  • Previous experience in space change/renovation projects.
