Do you want to work in a technical and important role where structure, precision, and system understanding make a big difference in projects? Granitor is now looking for a Designer/Constructor in Building Automation for our office in Borlänge. Here you will have a central role in the contracting group and become an important support to project managers and colleagues in the work of creating smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable building technology solutions.

As a designer/constructor, you will work closely with projects and contribute with documentation, design, and technical specifications that ensure quality throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role suits you if you have a background in building automation, or alternatively HVAC or electrical engineering, and enjoy combining technology, order, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

As a designer/constructor, you work on-site from the office in Borlänge and support project managers and project teams with design work in contracting projects within building automation. The role is varied and involves producing, compiling, and ensuring technical specifications needed for projects to be carried out efficiently and with high quality.

Examples of tasks include:

• Creating material specifications.
• Designing operation diagrams.
• Compiling material orders.
• Creating and updating IO lists.
• Working with operation and maintenance manuals.
• Supporting project managers with technical specifications and documentation.
• Collaborating with project managers, technicians, programmers, and installers.
• Contributing to structure, quality, and clarity in project documentation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience or knowledge in building automation, or alternatively an HVAC or electrical engineering background.
• Has good technical understanding and interest in building technology systems.
• Is structured, precise, and has a good sense of order.
• Enjoys working with technical specifications, documentation, and design.
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and has a good understanding of technical documentation.
• Is computer literate and easily adapts to technical systems and working methods.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in design within building automation.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, control and regulation technology, or electrical installations.
• Experience in creating operation diagrams, IO lists, material specifications, or DU documentation.
• Experience working in contracting projects.
• Experience with relevant CAD, design, or documentation tools.
