At Region Dalarna, you will find meaningful work where you can make a difference. Together, we work towards a sustainable Dalarna with development potential in all parts of the county.

About the role

We are in an expansion phase and need to strengthen our organization with local space planners at Regionfastigheter Dalarna.

Regionfastigheter is responsible for the consolidated property management of Region Dalarna. Our mission is to provide premises and services to the region's operations based on sustainable societal development. We manage approximately 450,000 sqm of premises and rent out an additional 120,000 sqm externally. Our largest objects are our hospitals, but we also manage folk high schools, health centers, and public transport facilities.

We develop premises and properties for new and existing tenants through renovation and new construction, and we now need to strengthen the organization with additional staff as we are in an expansion phase.

Responsibilities

As a local space planner here, you will participate in our construction projects, primarily in the early stages. You will collaborate with our project managers, architects, technical consultants, and contractors, and not least with our tenants—the operations! You will lead working groups with representatives from the operations and, together with them, prepare the basis for our project designers. You identify and document functional and operational requirements for the premises and are part of a group with local space planners and project managers. You also work broadly with strategic issues related to standards and the early stages of the construction process. The organization consists of a competent and well-knit team of administrators, project managers, local space planners, technical specialists, and administrative support.

We also collaborate with colleagues from other regions through various networks we are engaged in. The work involves contact with many different operations and employees within Region Dalarna.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • University education within healthcare, architecture, or another relevant field
  • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing
  • Driver's license (as projects will be relevant throughout the county)

Personal qualities:

We are looking for you who, independently and together with others, participate and are driving forces in our projects. As a person, you are outgoing, calm, methodical, precise, and analytical, while also having high drive and being stress-resistant. You listen and are a good negotiator when different needs and requirements clash. You easily build good relationships and are receptive and solution-oriented. You also have the ability to structure and plan your own work.

Merits:

  • Experience in leading and working in groups
  • Previous experience with space change projects
