An important part of the Social Infrastructure Administration is Municipal Properties, the cohesive link in premises issues for municipal operations. We work to create good conditions for a customer-oriented and needs-adapted approach, where our mission is to offer suitable premises for the municipality's various operations in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.

Today, Municipal Properties is responsible for over 300 owned and rented properties with a total area of approximately 390,000 square meters. We are in an expansive phase with many planned new constructions, renovations, and conversions of existing stock. We are now looking for a Property Manager who wants to contribute to the development of future municipal premises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Property Manager, you are responsible for a number of the municipality's operational premises and work to ensure they are functional, sustainable, and adapted to the needs of the operations. You have overall responsibility for your properties and work long-term with both development, economics, and planning.

In the role, you are responsible for planning, following up on, and prioritizing maintenance efforts, as well as contributing to investment planning and property development. You drive and coordinate smaller projects and act as a client towards contractors and other external actors.

You have close dialogue with operations, tenants, external landlords, and other collaboration partners. Through active collaboration, you contribute to creating good conditions for the municipality's operations and ensure that the premises meet both today's and future needs.

You work together with other Property Managers and other specialist functions within Municipal Properties. Together, we develop our properties, our working methods, and our operations, always with a focus on quality, long-term perspective, and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in property management, property technology, building technology, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Alternatively, you have acquired corresponding competence through several years of experience in qualified work within property management or the construction industry. You have experience working with property issues, preferably with responsibility for both economics, maintenance, and development of the property portfolio. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, have good computer skills, and a B-driver's license.

We would appreciate it if you have experience working in a client organization and have a good understanding of the different parts of property management. Experience from public operations, project management, or work according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) is meritorious. Experience with reuse and sustainability issues related to construction and properties is also meritorious. We see a growing need for sustainable and resource-efficient working methods and therefore value knowledge and engagement in the area.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work based on the operation's needs. You have a solution-oriented approach and can analyze situations from a holistic perspective to find long-term sustainable solutions. You are proactive and take responsibility for driving issues forward while also being good at collaborating with others. The role involves many contact surfaces, so it is important that you are relationship-building, communicative, and have a strong customer focus. You build trusting relationships, are sensitive to the needs of operations, and contribute to good collaboration both internally and externally.
