We are now looking for a Production Engineer, Converting who wants to contribute to the development of operations at Stora Enso Fors.

In this role, you will hold a central position in our team and work on systematic improvement efforts regarding technology, routines, and working methods together with colleagues in the department and support functions. You will monitor the performance of our paper machines and, based on target tracking and established KPI data, develop proposals for actions and improvements. You will also work on creating development plans with both short and long-term horizons, focusing on optimizing flow, efficiency, volume, and quality.
High quality is a guiding star at Fors, where your role is central in evaluating the product and working proactively to ensure we deliver a world-class product. You function as a key link on our converting department, with many internal and external contacts to drive business development.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have an engineering degree or other education/professional experience that can be assessed as equivalent. You have good process and technical knowledge and handle Swedish and English fluently.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone with the ambition to constantly improve. You strive to be the best at what you do, dare to think new thoughts, and take initiative. You share your knowledge and inspire others to develop. You take great responsibility and work purposefully to achieve common goals.
You show a high degree of responsibility and teamwork skills and are a person who makes decisions based on facts, uses data effectively, and can adapt quickly to changing situations when they arise.
You are analytical, solution-oriented, and able to communicate plans and information clearly in both speech and writing.
