About us:

Vägservicecentralen (VSCN) is a specialized company offering services in washing and sweeping. We jet wash bridges, tunnels, and barriers. The company uses mobile super-suckers and jet washing vehicles for bridge washing, as well as sweeping for road maintenance and milling operations. Other services include clearing bridge gutters and impregnating curb beams.

The work is primarily carried out using specially built trucks equipped with technical arms, high-pressure pumps, water tanks, and TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) protection. Warehouses and pallets are washed manually using under-chassis lifts. The company also owns several super-suckers, including a combined sweeping and jet washing vehicle, as well as several TMA units and vehicles for manual jet washing.

VSCN has its own workshop with mechanics responsible for the service and maintenance of our Volvo vehicles and construction machinery.

About the role

As a mechanic with us, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repairs of heavy vehicles such as trucks and construction machinery. You will work both independently and as part of a team in our modern workshop, with access to the latest technology and tools.

Your responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and vehicle repairs
• Service and maintenance
• Bodywork and upfitting
• Participation in improvement work and quality control

We are looking for someone who:

• Has automotive technical education, preferably with a focus on heavy vehicles
• Has experience working with trucks, buses, or construction machinery
• Is accustomed to troubleshooting and has good computer skills
• Has a B driving license (C license is an advantage)
• Is responsible, detail-oriented, and has good teamwork skills
