The Care Administration is now looking for a nursing assistant for permanent weekend work within home care. The employment type is a permanent position within care with a fixed-term appointment for permanent weekend work.

Description

In home care in Sotenäs, we work to create security, quality of life, and continuity for our users – where every meeting counts. Our services are provided in accordance with the Social Services Act, and we support the entire Sotenäs Municipality.

Permanent weekend work is the employment type for you who want to work all weekends and involves working 28 hours/week, scheduled for day and evening shifts. You work either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Other time is scheduled during other weekdays for e.g., APT and training. 28 hours of working time gives you a full-time salary.

As a nursing assistant, you work independently but with the support of an engaged team.

You:

• Provide care and service efforts with a warm, professional attitude.
• Work based on individual needs to create security and quality.
• Perform delegated health and medical care tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act.
• Document and create implementation plans according to current guidelines.
• Support our users in the moment – with presence, respect, and care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as a nursing assistant.
• Have a B driver's license.
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Are computer literate.
• Are empathetic, sensitive, and confident in meetings with people.
• See the value in good treatment – even when the world is asleep.

Fact about permanent weekend work:

Weekend work is defined as day or evening work for three days in a row. You work either Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. Each working day is 8–9 hours, which means 28 hours of weekly working time.

You receive a regular full-time salary plus weekend compensation for the weekend days.
