Praktikertjänst Bohuslinden Health Centre runs a broad general practice and the clinic is located right by the sea with a view of the Strömstad archipelago.

Here, 32 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, psychologists, and doctors. We strive for good teamwork to utilize everyone's competence and to work as resource-efficiently as possible. We aim for an open and positive climate among colleagues regardless of professional category.

The health centre serves approximately 9,000 patients, and the workplace is characterized by short decision-making paths.

We work in the medical record system J4.

As a Specialty Training (ST) doctor with us, you will have the opportunity to develop within the entire spectrum of general practice. You will encounter a wide variety of patients with guidance from knowledgeable specialist doctors and close collaboration with experienced nurses and other professions.

In addition to emergency and scheduled appointments, our duties include participation in municipal home care and special housing, as well as Child Health Services (BVC), which is part of our family centre. We welcome participation in our joint duty centre operations for northern Bohuslän, located in Tanumshede, but this is not a requirement.

During your ST, you will have your own patient list adapted to your workload and hours as an ST doctor. We follow the guidelines from the National Board of Health and Welfare and SFAMS, aiming for approximately 500 patients in year 1 of ST, with a goal of approximately 900 listed patients by the end of the ST program.
