About Us

Ward 92/93 is an inpatient ward with an emergency mandate for cardiology. We admit patients with acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation.

We receive a high volume of patients from ambulances and the emergency department, as well as referrals from other hospitals with various heart conditions.

We work in a well-functioning team where nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists collaborate. This cooperation is crucial for delivering professional and high-quality care with the patient in focus.

Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you play a vital role in care and are close to the patient. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and temperature).
• Performing ECGs and blood sampling.
• Dressing changes and fall risk assessments.
• Reporting deviations to the nurse.
• Sharing responsibility for patient meals with the healthcare assistant.

Upon joining us, you will receive a thorough introduction. You and your supervisor will review your job description, and we will guide you through the ward until you feel confident in your role. Our goal is for you to provide the best possible care and integrate smoothly into our team.

About You

We are looking for a qualified nursing assistant. To fit well into our team, you possess strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and social competence. Working on the cardiac intensive care unit means you must enjoy emergency healthcare. The workload will vary from high intensity to calmer periods, which is part of the charm of the job. Experience in cardiac or emergency care is an advantage.
