Description

We are looking for a nurse with specific knowledge in the neurological field for our clinic. The position is organizationally part of the neurological team, which is included in the business area of Geriatrics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation.

The Neurology Clinic is staffed with four doctors and three nurses. Standard neurological operations are conducted, and patients with diagnoses such as MS, Epilepsy, and Parkinson's disease are among our large patient groups. In addition to nurses and doctors, the team includes a neuropsychologist, speech therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, coordinator, and social worker. The hospital also has radiology and sample collection services.

Responsibilities

• Work as a neurology nurse.
• Teach and provide patient information, counseling, and support to patients and relatives with neurological diseases.
• Own clinic for patients with neurological diseases.
• Telephone counseling (follow-up of medication treatment and various other inquiries).
• Standard tasks related to neurological operations, MMT test, preparation and assistance during LP and Tensilon tests, Apomorphine and LDOPA tests, as well as genetic sampling.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse is a requirement.
• Education in neurology is an advantage.
• Experience working in neurological operations is a requirement.
• Good social competence and teamwork skills are highly valued.
• Interest in development, innovation, and teamwork is important.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement. Language skills beyond Swedish and English are desirable.

Angered Primary Hospital will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. You should be service-oriented, communicative, and have good ability to work both in a team and independently.
