For our operations with one of our industrial clients in Trollhättan, ISS is looking for a business-driven and engaged Operations Manager who wants to combine operational leadership with project management.

About the role

As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for the daily delivery of FM services to the client, including technical services, cleaning, and business support services. You lead a small team of approximately four employees and are responsible for creating a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented operation.

A key part of the assignment is to develop the delivery in line with the client's growing business. This means you work closely with the client to identify improvement opportunities, develop working methods, and ensure high quality, good service, and profitable delivery.

In addition to operational responsibility, you are responsible for planning and executing smaller technical property projects, such as adaptations in the growing business, renovations, and other property-related CAPEX projects. The projects typically include costing, planning, coordination of contractors, monitoring of economy and quality, and handover to operations.

The role suits you if you appreciate variety and want to combine long-term leadership with a more project-oriented approach. Since the team is small, you are also expected to be unpretentious and contribute operationally yourself when the business requires it.

In the role, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Leading and developing a small team within facility management, primarily focused on technical property services
• Ensuring safe, efficient, and quality delivery according to contract
• Building long-term relationships with the client
• Planning, leading, and monitoring smaller technical property projects and CAPEX investments
• Responsible for costing, resource planning, contractor management, and financial monitoring of projects according to ISS established project frameworks and client requirements
• Working with continuous improvements and developing working methods that create increased customer value

You are based at the client's site in Trollhättan and report to the Site Manager. Since the Site Manager is responsible for several operations and is based elsewhere, you become ISS's natural local representative for the business.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a confident leader with strong personal drive and a genuine interest in technology, people, and customer relations. You have a good ability to prioritize, create structure, and drive multiple activities in parallel. You have a business-minded approach and understand how technical investments, quality, and service together create value for the customer.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in personnel management
• Experience in technical facility management, property operations, or similar operations
• Experience in project management within smaller construction, installation, or property projects
• Good experience in customer dialogue and service delivery
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Class B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience with:

• CAPEX or reinvestment projects within property or industry
• AB 04, ABT 06, and ABFF
• Costing, contract law, and procurement of subcontractors
• Occupational health and safety responsibility according to BAS-P/BAS-U
