Description

Lilja School, Vännäs Gymnasium, is seeking an assistant teacher to work with two young people on one of our educational programs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to individual students during the school day, while also sharing responsibility for the entire student group together with the regular teachers. You will also be part of a collaborative team.

You are a person who values building relationships and fostering good cooperation. You hold positive expectations of students and staff, and you work actively to ensure the safety, study environment, and goal achievement for all students.

Qualifications

• Documented experience as an assistant teacher at the upper secondary level.
• Previous experience as an assistant teacher within the Child and Youth Program is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of conditions such as NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and special needs support.

As the students have extraordinary needs, the recruitment process will be conducted with due consideration for this. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

The position is 80% and covers the school year 2026/2027. Start date is upon agreement, subject to necessary approvals.
