Nybrogatan 38 – A neighborhood bistro with heart and soul

When we think of the perfect dinner, we see a table crowded with plates and glasses. A bit of red wine from the main course, a few glasses of grappa, coffee cups. Desserts coming in, main courses going out. High-spirited and lively atmosphere.

A truly good neighborhood bistro does more than just serve food and drink. It is a hub in its local area – an essential ingredient in a stew that continues to simmer year after year: The building it sits in, the surrounding streets, the guests, the staff, the history of the premises, and the stories to be told. When all the pieces fall into place, that little extra something is created, which is hard to put into words.

With unpretentious service and great flexibility, we want to create a cost-effective holistic experience in a cozy neighborhood bistro setting!

About the role

It is important to us that you enjoy working here under fair conditions. If you don’t have fun and enjoy your job, you won’t do a good job – that is how we think. We want our staff to grow and develop with us! For the right person, with a reputable background in wine, the role may also involve wine responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design of the wine list
  • Purchasing responsibility
  • Logistics responsibility

  • Having an aptitude for certain administrative tasks

  • Having knowledge and interest in wine and food

Your areas of responsibility

  • Ordering responsibility
  • Staff responsibility with some scheduling duties
  • Learning and possessing knowledge of our food and beverage offerings
  • Cash handling
  • Implementation and follow-up of routines
  • You report to the Restaurant Manager
