Conference and Catering Manager

About the role

We are now looking for a solution-oriented and meticulous Conference and Catering Manager who wants to help create first-class service experiences for our customers and guests.

In this role, you are responsible for coordinating orders, planning deliveries, and ensuring that our conference and catering operations run smoothly from order to execution. You play a central role in the business and are our face to customers, clients, guests, and external partners. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong customer focus and a high level of service.

The role requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and a flat organizational structure approach. If needed, you are also expected to support the business with other common tasks within the restaurant and service departments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all customer contact regarding conference and catering orders
• Receive, plan, and coordinate orders
• Ensure deliveries are carried out according to customer requirements
• Be responsible for delivery and follow-up of orders
• Communicate and coordinate information to the restaurant team
• Handle some invoicing, reporting, and administration
• Assist in the restaurant, serving, and kitchen when needed
• Contribute to the development of the business's service and catering offerings

About the unit

The unit is located in central Stockholm and is responsible for the restaurant, guest dining room, conference service, catering, and facility maintenance in customer premises. We are an engaged team of approximately ten employees who work closely together to create high quality and good service.

Our restaurant is open from breakfast to afternoon (07:30–15:30). In addition to the daily restaurant operations, we handle conference and catering orders of varying scope depending on the season.

We are in an exciting development phase where we want to strengthen our offering with a clearer focus on healthy and attractive food and service concepts. At the same time, we see great opportunities to further develop the business through increased collaboration with other operations in the building.

• Are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with both customers and colleagues
• Have good administrative skills and good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Have experience with invoicing and reporting
• Have experience from the restaurant industry, preferably with a background in kitchen, conference, or catering
