Personal assistance is a support measure under LSS (The Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are currently looking for you who meets the following criteria:

• wish to work for a man in his 70s living in Ludvika

• have good knowledge of Swedish

• have a B driving license and access to a car

• are comfortable around pets

• are physically fit

The following qualifications are a plus:

• experience in similar work

• calm and cheerful demeanor

• experience with alternative communication

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 25%. Working hours are scheduled for daytime 08:00–16:00, evening 16:00–22:00, and night 21:30–10:00, both on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other allowances are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana
