Are you a meticulous and solution-oriented accountant who enjoys creating order and structure?

We are currently looking for you to take on a consulting assignment where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the balance sheet by cleaning and analyzing balance sheet items.

About the Role

As an accountant, you will join a company in need of strengthening its accounting and financial reporting processes. Your primary focus will be on reviewing, analyzing, and cleaning balance sheet items to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting. You will be part of an accounting team, contributing structure, quality, and progress to the work.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzing and reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Cleaning, correcting, and quality-assuring balance sheet items
• Identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions
• Documenting methods and adjustments made
• Supporting ongoing accounting and financial closing processes as needed
• Ensuring accounting records are up-to-date and comply with current regulations

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in advanced accounting and financial reporting
• Strong proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Experience in cleaning or quality-assuring balance sheet items
• Good IT skills and proficiency in Excel
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and structures
