Your Role

Do you have a passion for translating business needs into concrete IT solutions? Do you have good knowledge and grounding in our production environment?

As a Business Object Leader (BOL) for the Shipbuilding object, you act as the voice of the business in the development of process, methodology, and IT solutions. Your main task is to collect, ensure quality, and prioritize business needs to ensure that the IT services delivered create maximum operational value. The role requires a holistic view with strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Strategic work: Through structured improvement work, you ensure that daily processes align with the business's long-term strategy.
• Control and reporting: Coordinates and leads the work on business improvements together with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts). Presents status, progress, and roadmap at monthly meetings with the steering group.
• Requirement management and consolidation: Captures, ensures quality, and documents operational needs, process challenges, as well as product- and production-driven requirements from users and stakeholders within our business units and shipyard.
• Ownership of Object Backlog: Responsible for and maintains the prioritization of the business backlog (changes, improvements, and functional requirements). You structure the needs into an executable backlog and map these against traditional project plans.
• Joint pm3 object planning: Works in close collaboration with the IT Object Leader (IOL) to develop the annual pm3 object plan.
• Acceptance testing & training: Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) on the business side, coordinates local rollouts, and drives end-user training and onboarding.

Your areas of contact

You will have a central role with many contact areas. On the business side, you collaborate closely with Process Owners, Planning and Production Management, and leaders within the business units. On the IT side, your primary daily partner is your IT Object Leader (IOL).

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, you are a natural leader who has the ability to engage and drive groups forward. You have very good communication skills and thrive in the interface between people, technology, and business. Your greatest strength is that you have a deep understanding of business needs, while also having sufficient technical understanding to know how IT solutions can support and develop the business.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Holistic view and business understanding: Has a natural ability to look beyond your own department and understands how small changes in processes affect the organization's big goals.
• Analytical and goal-oriented: Quickly gets up to speed with complex strategies, key performance indicators (KPIs), and data, and has the ability to prioritize improvements that yield the greatest strategic effect.
• Result-oriented focus: Possesses strong internal drive and quickly transforms strategic decisions into concrete action plans and activities.
• Experience navigating both agile environments and traditional project structures (waterfall model).
• Good technical understanding and can hold a qualified dialogue with IT specialists.
• The ability to be a skilled relationship builder with experience leading workshops or workgroups.

Meritorious: Experience from manufacturing industry, marine environment, or shipyard industry is a big plus.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
