About the role

In the role of Technical Service Advisor, you will become an important technical expert and advisor with a central role in strengthening our customer relationships. You will work closely with our sales department, our stores, and professional customers to ensure that our products are used in the best possible way. The role is varied and combines technical advice with customer contact. You will work closely with professional painters, drive technical projects, and plan and conduct training sessions and product presentations. Our sales team books the activities, while you are responsible for the technical content and ensure that each training or customer visit creates value. To build strong relationships within the team and participate in joint meetings, you will travel to Malmö approximately once a month. You report to the Nordic Technical Service Manager.

  • Conduct customer visits together with the sales department or on your own initiative according to a planned route.
  • Support customers before and during projects through technical assessments, painting descriptions, and objective advisory expertise.
  • Handle complaint cases, usually in connection with planned regional customer visits. Report in internal systems.
  • Perform inspections and conduct training for store staff and customers. Hold product reviews and customized training outside the regular training program.
  • Participate in and lead customer and industry activities such as painter breakfasts (approximately once a month) and larger events, such as Painting Day.
  • Provide technical and market-related support via phone in an advisory and coaching role.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to contribute to knowledge dissemination through social media channels.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an experienced painter with a genuine interest in technology, quality, and sharing your knowledge. You thrive in a role where you can combine your practical experience with advisory, training, and close customer contact. As a person, you are self-reliant, solution-oriented, and confident in your interactions with people. You have an easy time building trust and establishing long-term relationships with both customers and colleagues.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Painter training and at least 10 years of practical experience as a painter.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of paint, paint systems, and application techniques.
  • Experience in conducting training, presentations, or otherwise sharing your competence is meritorious.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach in dialogue with customers and colleagues.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
