What will you do for us?

As a well driller, you work with both large and small drilling rigs and use various drilling techniques to create wells for energy and water.

No drilling site is the same, and conditions vary from assignment to assignment. Therefore, you need to be creative, solution-oriented, and enjoy finding solutions to the challenges that arise. The work can also be physically demanding as it is performed outdoors year-round. The role also includes some service and maintenance of our drilling rigs.

The work takes place on-site, primarily in southern Sweden, but assignments in other parts of the country may also occur. When you are out with customers, you represent Malmberg and meet with municipalities, large property owners, construction companies, and industries. The position involves travel, both short and long-term, and to facilitate this, you are provided with your own service vehicle which you depart from home with. When you are not working out in the field, your workplace is our headquarters in Yngsjö.

Qualifications

You will become part of a close-knit team where you support and help each other in daily work. To thrive and succeed in the role of well driller, we see that you:

• enjoy physical work.
• are responsible and can work independently.
• are outgoing and have a customer-focused service approach.
• have a B driver's license. C or CE driver's license is an advantage.
• have experience in welding black steel and stainless steel (advantageous).
• have well drilling certification or training as a drilling technician (advantageous).

At Malmberg, we work for a safe, good, and drug-free work environment. Final candidates for the position will therefore be asked to present an extract from the criminal record register, undergo a drug and alcohol test, and in some cases be offered a health examination through our occupational health service. We will also conduct a credit check for certain positions.
