About the job
Service of documents means that we ensure the receipt of service documents from one or more of the Swedish Enforcement Authority's operational processes. This is crucial for the recipient's ability to protect their rights.
Your tasks involve conducting customer visits independently. You often drive to the customer's home or workplace. Your customer visits involve handing over and serving documents. These documents can be applications, seizure orders, or debt adjustment decisions, among others. The role also includes administrative tasks at the office, such as making phone calls to prepare for customer visits and follow-up work to finalize your cases.
You are part of a section that jointly is responsible for results, planning, and workload distribution. This is done in dialogue with the section manager who supports you and the work group in achieving the section's goals. To provide the best conditions for customer meetings, there are regular working hours during evenings and weekends.
Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a process server, you can, for example, report violations of population registration.
We are a virtual enforcement section with offices in Halmstad and Varberg. The location for this specific position is Halmstad.

Your qualifications:
- Final grade from upper secondary education.
- Car driver's license and good driving experience.
- Good IT skills and experience working in various IT systems.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Current experience in answering questions and conveying information in a concise and pedagogical manner during direct customer meetings.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in handling physical meetings with people in difficult life situations. Since a large part of the work is carried out in the field and involves a lot of driving, it is an advantage if you have current experience of similar tasks.

Good to know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a process server. Working hours are distributed between daytime, evening, and weekends. The Swedish Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work after agreement with the employer.
Working in the public sector means you follow the government's values. There are also special requirements regarding judgment, security awareness, and adherence to current laws. We ask questions during interviews regarding any previous criminal activity and deficiencies in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked of reference persons. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Swedish Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. Information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the current employment.
An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. Swedish citizenship is required for some of our security-class tasks.
