We are now looking for two assistant nurses for Ekdalagården's short-term care unit, located in central Mölnlycke. The position is located at Rosenhill, a short-term care unit with a focus on dementia, where you, together with colleagues, work to create a safe, dignified, and meaningful everyday life for people who have received a decision on short-term stay and respite care. The working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and every other weekend.

Your assignment

As an assistant nurse with us, you provide our users with safe, dignified, and person-centered care. You support them in daily life based on individual needs and implementation plans, with a focus on participation, independence, and quality of life.

The work includes personal care, social interaction, activities, meal support, service tasks, as well as delegated health and medical tasks. You are also responsible for social documentation and have contact with relatives.

You work closely with colleagues in a team and actively contribute to good cooperation, professional treatment, and a safe environment for both users and employees. The role requires responsibility, high integrity, and a quality-conscious approach.

The working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend. During the first year of your employment, you will cover a temporary position at the short-term care unit, with the possibility of placement at VÅBO thereafter depending on the needs of the operations.

Joint planning – how it works with us

Härryda Municipality works to create stable operations with increased basic staffing. This means that we apply joint planning, where you have a home unit but can also work shifts at other units if needed.

The purpose is to ensure continuity and safe care for the users, while you get the opportunity for variation, experience sharing, and competence development. Introduction is provided so that you feel secure in the assignment.

Requirements

To be relevant for the position, you need to:

  • Be trained as an assistant nurse
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Have good digital competence and experience with social documentation
  • Ability to take and follow delegated HSL tasks

Merits

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working in a short-term care unit and/or home care.
  • Further education in dementia, psychiatry, or welfare technology
  • Experience with quality and value-based work
  • Experience with systems such as Treserva, TES, and the BPSD register
