Economic Crime Specialist at Bolagsverket

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to contribute to safer business operations and stronger protection against economic crime? We are now looking for another economic crime specialist who wants to help develop Bolagsverket's crime prevention work.

Here, together with other authorities and societal actors, you will have the opportunity to support with knowledge and strategies that prevent crime.

Our crime prevention department is in a building phase where you will have the opportunity to help shape structures, working methods, and roles in important and exciting development work.

You will belong to the unit responsible for analysis and collaboration within Bolagsverket's crime prevention work at a strategic and tactical level. The unit drives and participates in authority-common assignments, government assignments, and internal development initiatives to strengthen the authority's crime prevention capability.

As an economic crime specialist, you will:

• Collaborate with other authorities to develop common methods, working practices, and regulatory application within the crime prevention area.
• Participate in and lead external collaboration assignments together with authorities and other actors.
• Participate in and drive government assignments assigned to Bolagsverket, as well as contribute to government assignments led by other authorities.
• Participate in and coordinate internal assignments to develop Bolagsverket's crime prevention work, follow up on status, and drive the work forward together with other units and departments.
• Work with business development through investigations and analyses that strengthen Bolagsverket's work against economic crime.

You will become part of a group with different specialist competencies where ideas and experiences are shared. You will have the opportunity to contribute, together with engaged colleagues, to preventing and hindering economic crime while having good opportunities for personal development.

Bolagsverket offers several health-promoting activities and the possibility to work remotely to some extent depending on the needs of the operations. We are located in modern premises centrally by the harbor in Sundsvall and can also offer a workplace centrally in Stockholm.

QUALIFICATIONS

For us, it is important that you are the right person in the right place. We are looking for you who work systematically and plan your work in a thoughtful way. You have strong analytical skills and can see connections in complex information. You feel confident in collaborations and in situations where you need to make professional assessments. You are also curious and have an easy time absorbing new knowledge and adapting to changed conditions both within the authority and in society.

In this role, you must also have:

• An academic degree in law, economics, or another area relevant to the position.

And have experience of:

• Investigation and/or intelligence work within economic crime.
• Mapping of economic and financial activities.
• Analyzing, structuring, and compiling large amounts of information.
• External collaboration with authorities, organizations, and business life.
• Systematic risk work.
• Leading assignments or projects.

You must also have good knowledge of Swedish and English and the ability to communicate clearly, pedagogically, and adapted to the target audience, both orally and in writing, as well as hold Swedish citizenship.

We consider it meritorious if you additionally have experience of:

• Working according to changed legal requirements and legal assessments.
• Agile working methods.

Location: Sundsvall or Stockholm, but you need to work regularly at our office in Sundsvall.
