The Care and Support Housing units in Malmö Municipality consist of six units. We are now looking for assistant nurses for the resource group at our care and support housing within unit 3. As an assistant nurse in the resource group, you will work on a fixed schedule (day/evening and alternate weekends). You will be placed in a resource area and work at its various facilities. This means you may be placed in different work groups within the resource area depending on the needs of the operations.
Our resource area is based at:
- Danska vägen 16 A and C
- Husiegård, Ernst Jakobssons gata 7
- Apelrosen, von Troils väg 8B
Job Responsibilities
You work with providing residents with care, service, and support – always with a focus on person-centered care. The work also involves:
- Handling medical tasks delegated by the nurse
- Documentation in the Life Care system
- Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professional groups
As an employee in the resource group, you will not be a contact person, which gives you more room to focus on daily care work and urgent needs in the operations.
Qualifications
You are trained as an assistant nurse and have a great interest and commitment to your profession, where you are happy to give that little extra. We would like to see that you have experience with dementia diseases and, of course, you are confident in your professional role, have good empathetic ability, and always put our residents at the center.
Good cooperation and joy in work are prerequisites for fulfilling our mission. We are now looking for you who want to contribute your experience, knowledge, curiosity, and thoughts to the team. Together with your colleagues, you are creative, solution-focused, and flexible, and handle different situations that arise.
You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Documentation is an important part of the assistant nurse's role, and you need to have good computer skills.
Together with you, we want to provide good care, joy, security, and quality of life to our residents.
