Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

Would you like to combine operational purchasing work with the opportunity to help develop Eksjöhus' purchasing function?

Eksjöhus is now looking for a Purchaser to join the team in Eksjö. Here, you will play a key role in ensuring material supply for our house production while becoming a significant part of the development of our purchasing operations.

This is an opportunity for you if you thrive in the operational daily routine of purchasing but are also motivated by creating structure, developing working methods, and contributing to the continued development of the business.

As a Purchaser at Eksjöhus, you work closely with production, sales, design, and suppliers to ensure that the right materials are in place at the right time, with the right quality and cost.

The role currently has a clear operational focus, with responsibility for project purchasing and inventory purchasing related to house production, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to process development and long-term follow-up.

You will primarily work with:

• Purchasing for projects and production
• Ensuring deliveries based on time, quality, and cost
• System maintenance, article setup, and price entry in the business system Monitor
• Daily contact with suppliers and follow-up of deliveries
• Contributing to improvements in purchasing work and the development of processes and working methods

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with purchasing experience who thrives in a business-close role where structure, collaboration, and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday life.

With a structured approach and an eye for order, you handle multiple contact areas simultaneously and are confident in administration, system management, and follow-up.

As a person, you are communicative, unpretentious, and have a knack for building good relationships both internally and externally. This role suits you if you appreciate the variety between operational work and development issues and thrive in an environment where content can change over time.

To succeed in the role, you are required to have:

• High school education
• Experience in purchasing within manufacturing operations
• Experience with business systems
• Experience with supplier contacts
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Experience with Monitor ERP, work within the construction, housing, or wood industries, or post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or industrial economics are considered meritorious.

We also welcome experience in sustainability work, as this is an area that will gradually become increasingly important within the purchasing function.
