About the role

As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for developing and managing the company's strategically important customers. You work both operationally and strategically to create long-term relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure profitable business.

You will be the customer's primary contact person and collaborate closely with internal functions such as service, logistics, finance, and production to ensure high quality in deliveries and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quotation work, calculations, and pricing
  • Negotiate and follow up on customer contracts
  • Identify and develop business opportunities among existing customers
  • Drive sales of products, spare parts, and services
  • Ensure commercial terms and profitable business
  • Develop and strengthen long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct customer meetings and business reviews
  • Follow up on customer satisfaction and customer needs
  • Act as the primary contact point for assigned key customers
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for the customer portfolio
  • Follow up on results and defined KPIs
  • Manage and follow up on customer receivables
  • Ensure good profitability within the area of responsibility

We are looking for someone who

Has relevant post-secondary education in sales, economics, or engineering – or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in Key Account Management
  • Documented success in developing business and customer relationships
