Main Responsibilities
If you want overall responsibility for one or more departments and to lead employees, the role of Team Leader in the Grocery Department is right for you. Here is what the role entails:
- You are responsible for purchasing and sales, as well as ensuring the department achieves our common goals.
- You ensure that customers have a great experience. The customer is at the heart of our business, and daily customer contact is crucial for a positive store experience.
- Together with your team, you ensure profitability, ensure procedures are followed, and monitor gross profit and sales.
- You have personnel responsibility. This means employees receive the right information, develop, and thrive, and that store operations run smoothly. You will also be part of the store's management team.
Job Details and Conditions
- Position: Permanent full-time position. Probationary period applies.
- Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement.
- Working hours: Varied, including early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you are interested in food, driven in sales, and enjoy working with people. We also expect the following:
- Knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of basic economic key figures and experience with store work.
- Strong leadership skills: You are good at explaining routines, setting goals, and identifying challenges.
- Ability to work at a high pace, delegate tasks, give and receive feedback, and drive change processes.
