Main Responsibilities

We are now looking for you who want to be part of a successful operation. As a store employee in the delicatessen department at Hemköp Skillingaryd Artillerigatan, you will take significant responsibility for ensuring our customers can easily find what they are looking for. You will ensure our shelves are well-stocked and that our store is clean and tidy, with a focus on our bakery section. Together with your colleagues, you will focus on positive customer interaction, sales, and maintaining the highest quality.

In your role as a store employee in the delicatessen department, you work with an understanding of HACCP as well as Axfood's guidelines for hygiene, health, and food safety. With your burning interest in food, especially delicatessen products, you will become an important part of the chain towards an inspiring shopping experience. In return, we can promise good development opportunities in an organization where we dare to think outside the box. The position is a permanent full-time equivalent of 30 hours per week, with a probation period. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Start date desired is 2025-08-24 or as agreed.

What We Expect

Liking to work with customers and sales is a prerequisite for the role of store employee in delicatessen. You inspire and contribute with your creativity and knowledge when serving customers according to their needs at our delicatessen counter. We would like you to have previous experience in delicatessen and ready-made meals.

To thrive with us, you should find it easy to work in a team, be meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious. Furthermore, you enjoy a high pace and are accustomed to working under time pressure. Together with your colleagues, you will manage daily operations, which means you are service- and sales-oriented, but also that you enjoy working across departmental boundaries in the store. With reference to the Working Environment Act (Chapter 5) and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8 and Annex 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the tasks.
