At Careium, we are looking for alarm operators who want to work administratively at our alarm center in Malmö. As an alarm operator, you play a vital role in ensuring that elderly people and individuals with disabilities receive fast and secure assistance when they need it.
About Careium
Careium is an international company with roots in Sweden and its headquarters in Malmö. We have been pioneers in telephone technology and welfare technology since the 1970s, and we continue to develop services and products for seniors. Our vision is that everyone who uses our products and services lives a richer life, feels secure, and is well taken care of.
We operate several alarm centers in Europe, including two in Sweden. Our alarm operators work around the clock, year-round, following clear routines to provide professional support to users, municipalities, and healthcare providers.
Careium aims to be the market leader in welfare technology in Europe, while simultaneously creating a better everyday life for our seniors and contributing to sustainable development.
We are now looking for more dedicated employees who want to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
As an alarm operator, your tasks include:
- Receiving and handling incoming security alarms according to established routines and guidelines
- Relaying alarms based on the nature of the situation
- Working in our digital systems and following set work processes
- Collaborating with colleagues, municipalities, and other healthcare actors
Currently, we are hiring for both night shifts (working hours 20:45–07:00) and day/evening shifts (working hours vary, shifts can be scheduled between 06:00–23:00). The role requires working two weekends per month.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have work experience in municipal or private elderly care. You are driven by making a difference in people's lives and are service-oriented. You have a secure and professional approach to people, feel comfortable communicating via telephone, and have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
In your work, you are structured, follow routines, and can maintain your composure even in pressured or urgent situations.
