Welcome to a new future at Riksbyggen!

Riksbyggen is a cooperative company, meaning we are member-owned and work according to our four core values: Innovation, Security, Collaboration, and Long-term Perspective. We develop sustainable living environments by both creating new housing and managing real estate. As one of Sweden's largest players in both housing development and property management, we serve housing cooperatives, businesses, and public property owners. Regardless of your interests or goals, you are always welcome with us.

Riksbyggen is in an exciting phase of development regarding its commercial customer segment. We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager within the National Customer Market area.

Make a difference with us

As a project manager with us, you will collaborate closely with property management and leasing throughout the entire project process. Projects may include ROT (Repair, Move, Extend) projects, maintenance and renovation projects, tenant adaptations, and energy efficiency improvements. This is a role where you, as a project manager, get to work from start to finish with great freedom. You drive your projects through all stages and are responsible for both implementation and results.

You will, among other things:

  • Be responsible for leading projects and ensuring work continues through the entire process to final inspection and handover
  • Work together with the team in the idea phase and be responsible for creating decision-making materials for the customer and client
  • Collaborate in the team during the analysis phase of the customer's renovation needs, living environment, and economy
  • Prepare tender documents and drive procurement processes for designers and construction contractors
  • Manage extensive contact networks with customers, tenants, contractors, consultants, and various authority contacts

Contribute with your skills and commitment

We are looking for you who are passionate about ROT and renovation projects and have the ability to meet our customers' needs. You have senior experience in project management within the real estate industry and property management. You have led projects from the idea phase, analysis, and design to implementation and completion, as well as being responsible for budget and forecasts. Since ROT projects constitute an important part of the assignment, it is crucial that you have documented experience in leading and executing such projects.

We expect you to have the following:

  • Education as a university engineer, civil engineer, and/or have the required competence and experience as a project manager
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to lead people in various temporarily assembled groups
  • Experience in project management, management agreements, procurement, and purchasing
  • Comprehensive construction technical competence with broad installation competence
  • Experience in maintenance and renovation projects of multi-family houses as well as premises and tenant adaptations
  • The ability to see the big picture and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and deviations in projects/business
  • Extensive experience communicating with tenants and customers.

To succeed in the role, you also need to be business-minded and trustworthy, and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues. You are driven by working towards set goals, have good collaboration skills, and are responsive to customers' needs. Furthermore, you are accustomed to digital working methods, thrive in a changing environment, and use your drive and communication skills to build good relationships with both customers and colleagues.

What can Riksbyggen offer you?

Together with an engaged team, you will be part of exciting projects with great opportunities to influence their implementation. We offer you challenging, stimulating, and developing tasks in a creative work climate and good competence development. We constantly improve our way of working, where employees can influence the continued development of our business, sustainability, efficiency, and digitalization, etc.
