Are you a structured problem solver who hates loose ends? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where large data sets meet strong team spirit? Then INR is looking for you as an Operational Buyer for our office in Malmö!
About the role
INR was founded in 1988 with the vision that the shower should adapt to the bathroom, not the other way around. Today, they are part of the Danish-Swedish group Dansani and manufacture high-quality bathroom solutions. At INR, a genuine sustainability mindset goes hand in hand with a desire to always deliver products with long lifespan and the highest premium feel.
As an Operational Buyer at INR, your main task is to ensure optimal material supply in a timely manner from global suppliers. The role is stable and administrative in its basic structure, but INR values an innovative approach where you are encouraged to identify and drive process improvements in your daily work.
Your areas of contact are broad, and you act as a central link in the organization, placed physically and operationally close to both production planning and customer service. You work in close collaboration with senior colleagues in the team who serve as strong sounding boards in daily work.
What we offer
- Family-friendly and inclusive work environment: INR values an open culture where people support each other, combined with significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to grow alongside the company.
- Top-tier products: You will work with one of the market's strongest premium brands, where your structure ensures that the right materials are always in place to build INR's design products.
- Development opportunities: In the long term, there is potential to grow and take on greater strategic and tactical responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
In the role of Operational Buyer, you will have varied responsibilities where administration meets analysis. Your main tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Supplier contact & delivery monitoring: Maintain daily dialogue and build good relationships with global suppliers, handle order confirmations, and ensure lead times are met and materials arrive on time.
- Logistics & freight handling: Book and track return shipments, handle logistical challenges, and manage returns and complaints towards suppliers.
- Master data & system maintenance: Ensure the business system is kept up to date with correct prices, statistical numbers, weights, and supplier details.
- Analysis & inventory optimization: Extract reports and analyze large data sets in Excel to understand forecast deviations, counter fluctuations, and optimize inventory levels.
- Invoice matching & shortage control: Check that prices and quantities on supplier invoices match purchase orders, and act proactively to prevent material shortages in production.
- Contract & price monitoring: Ensure that prices and terms on order confirmations and invoices match current supplier agreements, and independently handle initial price negotiations and quote requests at the item level.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a few years of experience in operational purchasing, logistics, or supply chain, or has a relevant academic or post-secondary education in purchasing/logistics.
- Has good knowledge of Excel (you are comfortable handling, sorting, and analyzing large data sets).
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have
- Experience with Jeeves or similar business systems.
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
