ByggCompaniet is an established construction company in western Värmland with offices in both Arvika and Charlottenberg. With broad experience in contracting and long-term customer relationships, the company is today a valued partner in both private and public projects. The current CEO plans to retire, and we are now looking for a business-minded and operations-oriented leader who wants to continue developing and driving the company forward.

The Role
As CEO of ByggCompaniet, you have overall responsibility for the company's operations, business, and long-term development. You lead the operations together with the organization, board, and owners, focusing on profitability, quality, long-term customer relationships, and sustainable business practices. This is a broad and hands-on role where the focus lies on strengthening the business, creating conditions for larger contracts, and driving the company forward. At the same time, we value the culture and working methods that have shaped ByggCompaniet into the company it is today.

In this role, you are responsible for:

• Business and strategy work
• Profit and economic responsibility
• Operational management
• Marketing and customer relations
• Organizational and leadership issues
• Development of internal processes and working methods
• Creating conditions for continued growth and larger projects

The current CEO will be available during a transition period to ensure a secure and smooth handover.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a confident, business-minded, and operations-oriented leader. You have experience with larger contracts and are used to working structured with clear processes, project management, and economic responsibility. At the same time, you are a person who builds trust, creates long-term relationships, and engages the organization in development and change. Perhaps you currently work as a project manager, site manager, contracting manager, or in another leading role within construction and contracting where you have been responsible for both projects, operations, and business. You are clear in your leadership and have the ability to combine business acumen with a long-term perspective. You have strong drive, a good understanding of project economics, and feel confident in dialogue with both customers and employees.

Requirements

• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility
• Good understanding of project economics and project management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits
