The LSS Department at Arvika Municipality is looking for you who wants to be part of our continued development and quality work!
We are seeking Unit Managers with an interest in personal assistance, as we have seen an increase in the number of cases.
As a Unit Manager, we are looking for you who have a genuine interest in making a difference at work. The job is challenging, varied, and meaningful, and you will make a real contribution. You are interested in working with development, finding new paths, and solutions. This challenges us, your colleagues, to think new thoughts, learn, and develop together.
Within personal assistance, we work actively to develop the professional role. We increase the number of meetings where assistants meet and have time together with their colleagues. We organize training and create opportunities for experience sharing.
We work to create good conditions for our managers to exercise close leadership.
We have administrative support that helps with short-term recruitment, scheduling, time reporting to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, etc. We invest in training in leadership and employee engagement and have good support from our operational support functions, such as HR, controllers, and others.
The position offers a wellness allowance, wellness hours, and the possibility to work remotely to some extent.

- Preferably a few years of experience as a leader and knowledge within disability services, primarily personal assistance.
- A driver's license and access to a private car, as assistance groups are located in several municipalities in Arvika.
It is meritorious if you as a Unit Manager have:
- Knowledge and experience of public administration.
- Experience of personnel and budget responsibility.
As a person, you are communicative, solution-focused, and goal-oriented. You have the ability to motivate and develop others, as well as inspire good work efforts, create joy in work, and pride in the work group.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
