Do you want to help develop Stockholm?

At Stockholmshem, we are proud to build and manage sustainable housing and residential areas for all Stockholmers. Our customers are at the center of everything we do, and we work every day to create safe and pleasant living environments. Do you want to become part of a workplace where you work with something as important as people's homes and have the opportunity to contribute to the public good? Then this might be the job for you.

We are looking for you who want to work with qualified investigations where legal assessments, customer contact, and social responsibility meet. Do you thrive on analyzing complex cases, making well-founded decisions, and finding solutions through dialogue with people? Then you may be the one we are looking for.

What you will do

As an investigator, you are responsible for investigating and following up on rental law cases concerning:

  • tenants who are late with rent or have current rent debts
  • disturbances
  • neglect of property
  • incorrect rental terms
  • lack of access to the premises
  • legal and commercial assessments of unpaid customer receivables

You work closely with other investigators, rental lawyers, the disturbance duty team, and other units within Stockholmshem. In this role, you represent Stockholmshem in contacts with tenants, social services, authorities, as well as other housing companies and actors in our residential areas.

The role involves handling complex cases where you need to make difficult trade-offs between different interests. You analyze data, apply legislation and regulations, and make well-founded decisions, while meeting people with respect, clarity, and professionalism – even in situations that may be perceived as sensitive or conflict-ridden.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience independently handling complex cases where you have made assessments based on legislation, regulations, or internal guidelines.

You are based at our office in Skärholmen, but travel within Stockholmshem's property portfolio occurs.

Who are you?

You are a secure and responsible person who thrives working independently in a role where you need to analyze information, make well-founded assessments, and make decisions in complex cases.

You have a professional approach and build trust in your interactions with people, even when conversations are difficult or conflicts arise. You communicate clearly and adapt your message to the recipient and situation.

You work in a structured manner and have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and drive multiple cases in parallel without compromising quality. You have good judgment, high integrity, and can make trade-offs where different interests need to be weighed against each other.

We also believe that you are curious, find it easy to familiarize yourself with new regulations and ways of working, and appreciate collaborating with colleagues to develop the business.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • a high school education
  • several years of experience in independent case handling or qualified case management where you have made assessments based on legislation, regulations, or internal guidelines
  • very good knowledge of the summary process
  • very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are meritorious
  • good computer skills and experience working in various business systems
  • good administrative skills and habit of documenting and following up on cases

It is meritorious if you have experience with rental law or work within the real estate or housing industry.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

What we offer

Here, you become part of a customer-oriented company that dares to think new and where you have the opportunity to contribute to the public good every day. We value our employees and work actively with sustainability throughout the entire business.

We offer, among other things, a generous wellness allowance, Rikskort/lunch benefit, as well as the opportunity to exchange vacation days and pension. Here you can read more about our offer and benefits.
