We are facing a major implementation project where we are replacing all digital support systems with a new platform. We are now looking for a solution-oriented software developer who wants to help shape the future IT support for our production and operations.

About the role

You will develop and ensure the quality of functionality in our new platform, translating business requirements into efficient and secure technical solutions. We offer a central role in the project organization with great opportunities to influence and develop the solution based on business needs. You will belong to the IT department and be part of the project organization implementing our new business system platform, reporting directly to the project manager. Your responsibilities:

  • Develop functionality and translate requirements into technical solutions in our new business system platform.
  • Participate in design and solution architecture for the system's structure and design.
  • Test and ensure quality by writing and running tests.
  • Document solutions with technical documentation and process descriptions.

You ensure that:

  • Solutions are sustainable and operationally reliable.
  • Systems support production's requirements for availability and efficiency.
  • Technical guidelines and best practices are followed.
  • Continuous improvements are driven forward through active management.
  • Collaboration works well with production, technology, IT, and project management.

Requirements

Education: Post-secondary education, such as Systems Science or Data Engineering.

Experience:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in software development.

Skills:

  • Experience as a systems specialist, preferably within manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of CPQ, ERP, and MES.
  • Understanding of integrations and system architecture.
  • Interest in automation, IoT, and digitalization.

Personal qualities:

  • Solution-oriented, analytical, and pragmatic.
  • Good communicator who thrives in collaboration with different functions.

Languages: Fluent Swedish and English.
