Do you want to be the one to elevate an entire development organization's level in AI-driven agentic development, and thereby our productivity, for real?

At Hogia Public Transport Products, we develop business-critical systems for public transport with high demands on accessibility, quality, and longevity. Our platforms handle real-time data, traffic management, and passenger information, reaching 90 percent of Sweden's travelers today. We are now looking for an AI Lead who will drive our AI transformation forward and make agentic, AI-driven ways of working the standard for how we develop, test, and deliver, with the goal of boosting both productivity and quality.

About the Role

As AI Lead, you are responsible for accelerating and systematizing the organization's use of AI tools and AI-driven ways of working, primarily AI-assisted and agentic development. You follow AI developments closely, understand where AI makes the biggest difference, and can translate new opportunities into practical value for our organization. By combining practical hands-on work with pedagogy and change management, you guide our development teams toward an organization where AI naturally streamlines daily work. You set the direction for how we use AI in the development flow, create concrete examples and reference implementations, and get the entire organization to take the next step.

You will among other things:

• Elevate the organization's level in AI-driven agentic development with the goal of increasing productivity throughout the entire flow, from idea and code to quality assurance and delivery.
• Identify where AI makes the biggest difference and drive its implementation in practice together with the teams.
• Follow AI developments closely, especially within developer tools and agentic ways of working, and quickly translate new opportunities into concrete benefits for us.
• Test, evaluate, and recommend relevant AI tools and ways of working to improve and streamline our development process.
• Create guidelines and recommended ways of working for how we use AI.
• Train, coach, and support teams and employees on how AI can be used in daily work.
• Hold presentations and workshops with companies within the entire business area.

You report to the CTO and collaborate closely with the Development Manager, Tech Leads, and development teams to ensure that the change gets direction and actually happens.

We are looking for you who

Has a developer mindset and deep practical experience with AI tools and AI-driven development work, and who understands how AI can change and elevate ways of working and productivity in a development organization. You are just as comfortable exploring and building with new tools yourself as you are inspiring and teaching others.

We believe you have:

• A good understanding of modern system development and how AI can create value in the development process.
• Experience with modern AI tools, AI agents, and AI-driven agentic development.
• The ability to translate technical possibilities into concrete ways of working for the entire development organization.
• Experience in conducting training, workshops, and presentations.
• An interest in or experience with driving change and increasing adoption in organizations.

As a person, you are curious, pedagogical, and inspiring. You like to show how it's done, not just talk about possibilities, and you build trust by mastering your craft. You are confident in dialogue with different target groups and have the ability to bring others along in the change.
