Your next challenge

At Nexer, we are now looking for a Cyber Security Consultant who wants to help our clients develop more structured and long-term security work.

Many organizations are facing increased demands for information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. At the same time, security work needs to function in practice and create value for the business. Therefore, we are looking for you who thrive in the intersection between operations, governance, and technology.

With us, you will work on issues such as NIS2, risk analyses, security governance, and maturity development, while possessing the technical understanding required to conduct qualified dialogues regarding identity management, Microsoft environments, and infrastructure security.

As a consultant with us, you will become part of a team with high competence and great engagement. You will work on varied assignments with different clients, combining information security, advisory services, and technical understanding. The role suits you if you enjoy immersing yourself in new operations, building relationships, and creating long-term value through structured and sustainable security work.

Examples of assignments

You may, among other things, work with:

• Conducting risk analyses and security assessments
• Supporting clients with NIS2 and other regulations
• Developing governing documents, routines, and processes
• Contributing to the development of organizational security maturity
• Identifying and prioritizing security risks
• Participating in security audits and improvement work
• Acting as an advisor to both operations and IT
• Participating in technical security dialogues regarding, for example, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and network security

We believe that you

...like security, but also the consultant role. You enjoy immersing yourself in new operations, building relationships, and helping various clients develop more structured security work. Whether you come from a technical or operations-oriented background, you are driven by creating long-term and sustainable solutions together with clients and colleagues.

You also have experience in several of the following areas:

• Information security and cyber security
• Risk analyses and security assessments
• NIS2 or other relevant regulations
• Security governance and GRC
• Creation of security routines and governing documents
• Security work in Microsoft environments
• Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or Azure
• Basic understanding of network and infrastructure security

It is meritorious if you additionally have experience with:

• ISO 27001 or similar standards
• Microsoft's security platform
• Security audits or reviews
• Project management or change management
• Certifications within information or cyber security

The role requires that you can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. This is a crucial prerequisite for succeeding in client dialogues and collaboration with the team.

Since the role involves consulting assignments with various clients, we also see that you enjoy working in varied environments. Travel occurs in some assignments, so it is an advantage if you are comfortable with a certain amount of traveling.

As a person

You are analytical, structured, and have an easy way of building trust. You enjoy translating complex security requirements into practical and usable solutions and have the ability to communicate with both operations and technical specialists.
