At Attendo, we are now looking for a nursing assistant or care assistant for Johannesbergsvägen in Sollentuna. This is a newly built and modern nursing home with 54 apartments focusing on Culture & Entertainment.

About the role

As a nursing assistant or care assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a large part of your role, as well as contributing with various activities that brighten up the daily lives of our elderly residents.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
• Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements for Care Assistant (Vårdbiträde):

• Care assistant education of at least 800 credits.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Requirements for Nursing Assistant (Undersköterska):

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

• Experience from care work in elderly care/home help services.
• Experience with delegation.
• Experience with digital systems/tools.
