What does the job as a nursing assistant/care assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

As a nursing assistant or care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring our residents have a secure and meaningful life in their golden years. We always start from the resident's wishes and own abilities, focusing on health. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care and nursing based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include help with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to pleasant activities with the residents. Simply a very exciting job!

Slottsovalen is a small, homely nursing home in an archipelago setting, with the sea close by. Our focus is dementia care, and we have 40 places. The facility is on one level, and our fantastic courtyard allows for outdoor activities year-round. Here you will find dedicated staff, present leadership, and not least fantastic residents!

In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be good at collaborating with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer substitute position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
