About the role
As a Project Manager at Hedin Construction, you are responsible for leading and driving construction projects through our process from tender, design, to production and handover to the customer.

The role entails overall responsibility for the project's economy, quality, schedule, and work environment, while ensuring good customer relations and effective collaboration among all involved parties.

You work closely with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to create well-functioning and profitable projects. As a Project Manager, you play a central role in developing our business through a business-minded and solution-oriented approach. You work closely with and report to the Construction Manager.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Responsibility for planning, execution, and follow-up of projects
• Actively work with project control and risk management
• Ensure the project's economy, quality, and schedule
• Ensure the project's occupational health and environmental issues
• Build and develop long-term customer relationships
• Personnel and development responsibility for employees
• Contribute to the development and profitability of the business

The operations are based out of our headquarters in Mölndal.

Your profile
To be successful in this role, we see that you have several years of experience in a leadership position as a Site Manager or Project Manager and have experience leading projects within, for example, residential, schools, and other civil construction. You have a good understanding of construction technology and a well-developed ability to drive both production and economy in projects. You have a university degree as a Construction Engineer or experience assessed as equivalent.

As a person, you are secure, clear, and engaging. You create joy in work within your projects and have the ability to get others to perform to deliver projects and results. You are communicative and create involvement through an open and structured working method.

You have good administrative skills and are accustomed to working in various digital systems and tools as support in project management of our projects.

We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who thrives in meetings with other people and gains energy from collaboration and cooperation. Above all, you are business-driven, engaged, and have a genuine interest in construction projects where you always put the business and the final result in focus.
