About the position:
We are now looking for a nurse with experience in primary care to work at the clinic as an on-call, telephone advice, and reception nurse.
The work as an on-call nurse is varied, and the role is of great importance to the health centre as it acts as the hub. Close collaboration occurs with on-call doctors, reception, clinics, and the laboratory. Duties include assessment/triage and care of unplanned and acute patients. Advice and guidance via phone and chat are part of the daily work, so the ability to work in different systems is important. At the clinic, tasks also include medication management, infusions, dressing changes, lifestyle conversations, etc.
The role of on-call nurse entails responsibility for the daily operations at the health centre. This includes responsibility for the medication store, the emergency room, and ensuring the patient flow at the health centre runs smoothly. Therefore, you need to be flexible and capable of working in a team under varying paces with a focus on good quality and patient-centred care. You also need to enjoy meeting different types of people and be curious about each individual's unique story.
We use the phone system TeleQ and the chat system Vårdportalen. Documentation is done in TakeCare. We use referral and advisory support in contact with patients, both physically and digitally.
Close collaboration exists between all clinics at the health centre, such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, district nursing clinics, and home care. For several years, we have also worked within the health-promoting primary care mandate. This creates good conditions for you as an employee to develop within your profession.
We really hope that you are the one we are looking for and that you wish to become part of our community and contribute to equal healthcare for the people of Tensta.
Qualifications:
Licensed nurse. Previous experience working at a health centre is meritorious.
Employment type:
Permanent, 100%. Your working hours will be daytime on weekdays.
Personal qualities:

You are interested and curious about people with different cultural backgrounds. Our population comes from all corners of the world, which places demands on our cultural awareness.
You have good empathetic ability and personal maturity, which gives you independence and contributes to you taking responsibility for the patient, yourself, and your tasks. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You set and keep timeframes. We are looking for you who want to help develop our operations with the patient in focus!
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
