Your future challenge

BAE Systems Hägglunds is making long-term investments and is looking for engineers who want to work on software development for our products. The continued digitalization of our products is one of the company's most important areas.

For this role, we are looking for you who want to work with programming in C or C++ to develop software for our products' vehicle systems. Here, you will be challenged with qualified problem-solving within embedded software in projects characterized by high-tech and complex software development.

As an engineer in the department, you will be responsible for a certain area, which could be architecture or subsystems. For those who enjoy the combination of practical work and system knowledge, this position is tailor-made. We have the opportunity to go out to our workshops and test. There is also the possibility to install software at our customers' sites. This combination is unique.

The person you are

We prefer that you have an academic education with a focus on computer science, electronics, or similar. You should have knowledge and experience in programming languages such as C, C++, or scripting languages like Python. Knowledge of model-based development in MATLAB-Simulink and experience with embedded systems are meritorious.

For this role, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities, where self-motivation and engagement are highly valued. You see the value in sharing your knowledge and learning from others. You are service-oriented with the ability to quickly absorb new information and transform it into creative solutions. Furthermore, you like to stay updated on new technology and are curious to learn more about things you do not know.

Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
