Do you like challenges? We do! Many of our assignments are considered too complex by others. If you are driven by problem-solving, exciting technology, and the desire to find solutions where no ready-made answers exist, you will thrive as a Production Technician with us!

About the Job

As a Production Technician, you will work with technical preparation and planning for the manufacturing of advanced components, tools, and fixtures where the demands for precision, quality, and technical expertise are high. Here, you will enjoy a dynamic and varied daily routine due to the wide variety of manufacturing processes and materials.

You hold a central position in the production chain and are involved throughout the entire process, from customer inquiry and preparation to final delivery. This gives you significant influence and a clear connection between your work and the results delivered to the customer.

In close collaboration with customers, production, and suppliers, you ensure quality, delivery precision, and efficient production. Most of the manufacturing takes place in our own machine shop in Skultuna, although we also outsource certain processes.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer inquiries and prepare technical documentation for quotations.
  • Develop production and verification methods, as well as perform operational preparation and cost calculations for articles.
  • Responsible for technical preparation, planning, and handover of manufacturing orders to production.
  • Collaborate with customers, production, and suppliers to ensure efficient and quality-assured solutions.
  • Create production documentation, instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Support production with technical questions and drive and participate in improvement and development work throughout the organization.

About You

We are looking for you who have a technical education and experience from the manufacturing industry. You have a good understanding of CNC and cutting machining and are accustomed to interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge in metrology and materials science provides a solid foundation for making well-balanced technical decisions. You are accustomed to working in business systems, the Office suite, and other relevant digital tools.

With a strong technical interest, analytical ability, and a solution-oriented approach, you thrive as the link between customer, production, and supplier. A focus on solutions, optimization, and development is part of your DNA. We would prefer you to be senior in your competence, but we are also open to those who are earlier in their career journey.

Knowledge in CAD/CAM, advanced CNC programming, in-depth knowledge in materials technology and metrology, and the business system Monitor ERP are meritorious.

Why Choose Råbe Tooling

At Råbe Tooling, you will work in a technologically advanced operation where precision, quality, and problem-solving are at the center. We develop and manufacture advanced tools, fixtures, and components in small series and prototypes for customers within energy, medical technology, aviation, defense, and transport. Here, you will have a varied role with significant responsibility, close collaboration, and good opportunities to influence both working methods and development. With short decision-making paths and high technical competence, there are excellent conditions for growing in the role and contributing to our continued success.

We also offer:

  • Permanent full-time employment.
