Driven by seeing your ideas come to life? Welcome to our exciting and technology-intensive world!
Your Role
As an ILS Engineer, you play a central role in ensuring high quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness for technical systems throughout their entire lifecycle. You work with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) from early concept and design phases through to operation, maintenance, and decommissioning, focusing on creating sustainable and customer-tailored maintenance and support solutions.
You lead and support projects both independently and in close collaboration with project managers, systems engineers, and other specialists. In this role, you ensure that the ILS and maintenance perspective is a natural part of system development and that logistics requirements, analysis results, and maintenance concepts meet both technical and operational requirements in a safety-critical environment.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and analyzing ILS strategies, plans, and requirements from a lifecycle and maintenance perspective
- Working with maintenance planning and analyses such as FMECA, LoRA, LCC, RAM, and MAC to ensure operational reliability, maintainability, and availability
- Preparing maintenance plans, spare parts lists, and calculations
- Contributing to technical documentation, procurement, technical support, and the development of customer-specific solutions throughout the system's lifecycle
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have a relevant technical education, preferably as a university or college engineer with a focus on ILS, logistics, systems engineering, or equivalent. You have at least a few years of experience working within ILS/maintenance, preferably in technically complex projects.
You have experience in several of the following areas:
- Maintenance planning and analysis
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Spare parts provisioning and calculation
- FMECA, LoRA, LCC, and RAM analyses
- MAC (Maintenance Allocation Chart)
- Requirements management from an ILS and maintenance perspective
It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with:
- Work according to INCOSE principles
- S-Series standards (e.g., S2000M, S3000L)
- HICO
- Defense industry or other safety-critical operations
You have a valid driver's license (Category B) and good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and meticulous, with a strong interest in technology. You thrive in team collaboration while taking personal responsibility for driving your work forward. With a holistic perspective and a good understanding of customer needs, you contribute to efficient, sustainable, and well-functioning solutions.
The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
